Using the Social and Emotional Support Module
Note: The Social and Emotional Support module is an add-on feature to Aspen. Contact your sales associate for more information. |
The Social and Emotional Support module helps to identify and support students who need assistance with academic or personal challenges.
This assistance could be anything that promotes student well-being, such as tutoring, support teams, and school-based health care. The module also helps manage external services, like professional therapy, job training, and community services. With this extra support, students can more fully focus on learning.
The process starts when a referral is entered. A parent, teacher, or any other person with an Aspen login can submit the referral. Students can also refer themselves or a friend they are concerned about.
Although anyone with an Aspen account can submit a referral, users must have the appropriate security role privileges to review and process it.
With the Social and Emotional Support module:

-
